Ramatu Ahmed is the founder of African Life Center, Ghana, and a highly respected community leader known for her unwavering activism in advocating for social justice.
Her journey in social work began in Ghana, where she actively championed the rights of women and children, playing a crucial role in connecting underserved communities with much-needed resources.
As a participant in the Beijing Women's preparatory forums held in Ghana, she gained deeper insights into global gender equality movements, further strengthening her dedication to empowering women and children.

With extensive experience in community development, Ramatu founded the African Life Center in the US to serve the African diaspora. In the US, her efforts focus on enhancing social and health services, addressing immigration and housing challenges, improving school education, and ensuring that community members receive referrals to access vital services.
Following consultations and assessments, she later established the African Life Center Ghana, based in Tamale. Her guiding principle is that youth deserve a better future, and she is determined to leverage her skills and knowledge to enable them to reach their full potential for social transformation.
Ramatu firmly believes that offering a helping hand to those in need is the most significant duty in life.
